Past, Present, Future - Part I

For anime fans who are now desprate to gain the rank of otaku, I have some news for you all to read.

- First -

The eighth and final DVD for Kyoto Animation's Clannad After Story anime adaptation of Key's Clannad visual novel will include an "Another World: Kyou Arc" episode. As the name implies, the episode will recount an alternate story arc that focuses on the Kyou Fujibayashi character. The announcement was made at "~Kono Machi no Negai ga Kanau Basho," the Clannad fan appreciation event that was held in Tokyo's New Pier Hall on Sunday. There will be a preview screening for the Kyou Arc episode on May 24, followed by the July 1 DVD release.

The BS-TBS satellite channel, which has been rerunning the Clannad After Story series, posted a program schedule for a different episode on April 19. (This recap episode already ran as the 24th and last episode in the original over-the-air broadcast on March 26.) However, the onscreen BS-TBS program schedule mistakenly includes a description of a Kyou arc episode instead of the recap episode.

Hey all,

About a couple of weeks ago, I had reported that during her CBS interview, Utada Hikaru had mentioned that she was trying to obtain the rights to use Simple and Clean and Sanctuary/Sanctuary ~after the battle~ on her new CD, This Is The One. Well now it has been confirmed!

Amazon.com has updated the tracklisting for her album. This marks the first time that both Sanctuary songs have been released as singles. Help support Utada by preordering her new album, which is to be released in the U.S. on May 12th!

The supernatural manga Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro ended its run on Monday after four years of being published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga written by Yusei Matsui focused on a demon named Neuro Nougami who feasts on riddles. Sounds like a twisted version of Yu-Gi-Oh, to me.

The world changed because one girl lost the one dearest to her. The grief-stricken girl kept searching for a way to bring him back to her, eventually became a scientist, creating a substance that looked to have promising results.

That substance was ‘Metaphysic particles’ which could transform mankind’s wildest dreams into reality, wondrous particles that could smash the divide between the spirit and the being.

But a grave error occurred in the research before it reached completion, and the Metaphysic particles were spread throughout the world. Incredible occurrences were happening throughout the world.

‘Monsters’ which preyed on humans appeared, recognized by the masses to be a consequence of the Metaphysic particles. It appeared to them to be the girl’s fault, and they ostracized her, calling her ‘The Witch’.

But from the masses emerged people who could use the Metaphysic particles to do battle with the monsters, Knights of Justice who transformed their beliefs into magical creatures to defeat the monsters. Using the twelve devices ‘Accessories’ that could magnify these beliefs, they became known as ‘12’

This is a story of a world where dreams become reality…

A new manga from Osada Yu-ko-sensei. Sensei`s another manga, TOTO:Mengejar Horizon(I dunno the name in Japan.)distributed by Gempakstarz was discontinued because of its low popularity. Maybe Tribal 12 is the rewrite/remake of TOTO. I can see some improvement in sensei`s new manga. You guys can read the firt chapter HERE!
