Double H's Review for To Love Ru
Synopsis
The story is about Rito Yuuki, a high-school boy who cannot confess to the girl of his dreams, Haruna Sairenji. One day when coming home and sulking in the bath-tub a mysterious, nude girl, appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from the planet Deviluke, where she is the heir to the throne. Her father wants her to return to her home planet so she can marry one of the husband candidates, but she decides that she wants to marry Rito in order to stay on Earth.
I say:
I find the plot of this series all to predictable(yeah).
If you've watched ecchi/romance-comedy anime before you wont really find anything groundbreaking about this anime. So if you don't like these kinds of shows, I suggest you stay away.

To LOVE Ru - Reviews and What It's All About?
The first time I read this manga, it's kinda more wackier than any other romantic comedy mangas. But still I rate this manga on number two. The main character looks like he had more admirers than just one, because of his kind and gentle attitude, almost look like Tsukune Aono from Rosario + Vampire and Manaka Junpei from Ichigo 100%.
Enough from the reviews. Just tell what's all about it...
-----------------------------------
To Love-Ru (To LOVEる -とらぶる-, To LOVEru -Toraburu-?) is a Japanese manga series written by Saki Hasemi, and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki, creator of Black Cat. The manga began serialization in Shueisha's manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump on April 24, 2006; as of November 2, 2008, eleven bound volumes have been published in Japan. A drama CD was released in February 2008 with an original story. A twenty-six episode anime series adaptation by Xebec aired in Japan between April and September 2008. A video game was released on the Nintendo DS in August 2008, and another game for the PlayStation Portable was released in October 2008. The title, when written in Japanese hiragana as (とらぶる, Toraburu?) translates to "trouble".
The story of To Love-Ru revolves around Rito Yūki, a high-school student who cannot confess to the girl of his dreams, Haruna Sairenji. One day when coming home and sulking in the bathtub, a mysterious, nude girl appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from the planet Deviluke, where she is the heir to the throne. Her father wants her to return to her home planet so she can marry one of the husband candidates. But she decides that she wants to marry Rito in order to stay on Earth. Commander Zastin has been ordered to bring Lala back and has already battled Rito. He reports to the emperor that Rito would be suited to marry Lala, after hearing Rito, who was actually defending himself instead of Lala, says that marriage is impossible unless it is with the person you love. Lala truly falls in love with Rito and decides that she wants to marry Rito after hearing what he said. Her father decides that, if Rito is able to protect Lala from her fiancés, then he can marry her, but if Rito cannot protect Lala from her other fiancés and meet the king's expectations, Lala's father will kill Rito and destroy the Earth.
----------------------------------------------With an idiotic plot like that, I refuse to read the early chapters. It's kinda makes your head, flying around after a slash.
-----------------------------------------------
Characters
-----------------------------------------------
- Rito Yuuki (結城 リト, Yūki Rito?) Voiced by: Akeno Watanabe
- The male protagonist of To Love-Ru, Rito is a 16 (currently 17) year-old high-school student. Rito used to be on the soccer team in junior high and was quite good, but quit because he was constantly helping his father with his mangaka duties, thus did not want to leave his sister Mikan alone in the house. Mikan comments he is very good at the most "useless little things", like crane and festival games. Along with the numerous useless little things Rito is good at, he is also an accomplished gardener/florist.
- Mikan Yuuki (結城 美柑, Yūki Mikan?) Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa
- Rito's independent and reliable 11 year-old sister, Mikan takes care of the housework while their parents are away on business. In contrast to her brother, she is very mature and does not hesitate to tease him, going as far as stating they aren't blood related, just for a laugh. Mikan also seems to have a certain lack of respect for Rito because of this (she hardly ever addresses him by his honorific as an older brother), but does answer him "Onii-chan" as thanks for trying so hard to take care of her when she develops a fever. Mikan may not show it, but she cares very deeply for Rito and misses his company, and states how they used to play together before Lala entered their lives.
- Mikan grows quite attached to Golden Darkness, perhaps due to Darkness seemingly being the same age as her. Mikan is very perceptive and seems to be able to read people's emotions, even their reactions, most of which is Rito's obvious anxiety around Haruna and Yui Kotegawa's subtle feelings for him (Mikan even calls him a "playboy" for attracting so many girls).
- Lala Satalin Deviluke (ララ・サタリン・デビルーク, Rara Satarin Debirūku?) Voiced by: Haruka Tomatsu
- The female protagonist of To Love-Ru, Lala is the princess of Deviluke. A rather childish girl, she is somewhat näive of the culture and familiarities on Earth. Lala initially runs away from home, citing she does not wish to get married to any of her arranged suitors. She enjoys making all manners of inventions (usually designed as pranks) and uses them frequently, often prompting some disastrous effect or another. Upon arriving on Earth, Lala pretends to love Rito to keep herself from getting married, but does exactly what she did not intend, after she misinterprets what Rito shouts in self-defence. Throughout the series, she always tries to get Rito to love her more, and barely shows any form of negativity towards him; she even states it is impossible for her to hate him.
- Eccentric, playful and intelligent, Lala isn't shy, to a point where it feels almost natural for her to be in the nude (the only exception of this occurs when Lala catches a fever, causing a change in personality and when her clothes melted from an alien frog's mucus). Like all citizens from Deviluke, Lala's physical abilities exceeds a human (in one chapter she manage to blow away a typhoon using her voice) and has a distinctive tail with a shape of a spade on the end. Oddly, her tail is very sensitive, causing her friends to nickname it as her "weakness" (all female Devilukeans' tails are more sensitive than a male's). According to Ringo, Lala's measurements are B89, W57, H87.
- Haruna Sairenji (西連寺 春菜, Sairenji Haruna?) Voiced by: Sayuri Yahag
- One of Rito's classmates and the girl of his affections, Haruna has similar feelings for him, having been attracted to his kind, gentle nature since junior high. Despite her growing love for Rito, which she believes to be unrequited, she usually suppresses her feelings and cannot confess to him because of her friendship with Lala, who also loves Rito. She lives with her older sister in an apartment and has a severe fear of ghosts and the supernatural, the exception being Shizu Murasame, to an extent. When frightened, she has a habit of grabbing the nearest thing around her -- typically Rito -- and swinging wildly, in an attempt to get rid of whatever frightens her.
- A highly responsible person, Haruna's personality can sway her classmates' hearts to vote for her as their class representative, even when she did not run to be a candidate. She is affiliated with the tennis club and a southpaw. According to Mio, Haruna's measurements are B79, W56, H82.
- Ren/Run Elsie Jewelria (レン・エルシ・ジュエリア, Ren Erushi Jueria?) Voiced by: Fuyuka Ōura
- A childhood friend of Lala, Ren is infamously known for wearing girls clothing during his play dates with Lala when he was a child. He arrives on Earth to win Lala by proving he is "man enough" for her, but becomes jealous of her relationship with Rito. Due to his pursuit of her, he accidentally gives Rito his first kiss. While Ren is furious, it has an unexpected consequence towards his "alter ego". As Ren is from planet Memorze (メモルゼ, Memoruze?), he can change gender in mind and body upon triggering a specific stimulus; in his case, a sneeze. As a girl, Run (ルン, Run?) is in love with Rito, due to the kiss, and blames Lala for her misfortunes, while Ren is still in competition, albeit one-sided, with Rito for Lala's hand in marriage. Currently, Run is a famous idol, having released several albums.
- In the anime, while Ren appears a few times, Run is the dominant personality of the two, who is more serious about her feelings towards Rito to the point of stalking him, even taking a simple misunderstanding from him into her believing all men are never serious about her feelings.
- Yui Kotegawa (古手川 唯, Kotegawa Yui?) Voiced by: Kaori Nazuka
- An uptight, high-strung girl placed in Rito's class during the second year, Yui has little to no tolerance for anything she does not consider to be "acceptable behavior". Her haughty opinions, quick temper, and habit of speaking her mind often results in her vocally reprimanding classmates. Yui quickly grows annoyed and disgusted by the eccentricities and bizarre actions, particularly with regards to Rito and Lala. Unfortunately, almost every encounter with Rito usually ends up with her embarrassed, and though her complicated nature prevents her from easing her behavior, she does slowly warm up to Rito's usual antics, claiming he needs to "lighten up" when he feels anxious.
By the way, don't ask because Kotegawa Yui is so cute when she snaps, even her personality is almost like Sotomura Misuzu. But still, I'm continuing the character's part.
------------------------------------------------
- Zastin (ザスティン, Zasutin?) Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu
- Lala's personal bodyguard and the best swordsman on Deviluke. Initially, Zastin disapproves of Rito, deeming him weak and subsequently soughts to test his strength. However, once Rito exclaims his opinion of marriage in self-defense, Zastin is swayed by his words (though not in the way Rito intends) and summarily approves of him, believing he truly understands Lala's feelings. He is currently working as the assistant chief to Saibai; the funds he gets for his duties are handed to Lala for her use. Zastin has shown a keen interest in becoming a mangaka, professionally.
- Despite his skill with the sword, Zastin has a horrible sense of direction (similar to River Zastory of Black Cat, Roronoa Zoro of One Piece,Ryoga of Ranma ½, and Kenpachi ZarakiBleach), resulting in him getting lost (one of the running gags in To Love-Ru). He also seems to have extremely bad luck, where he keeps getting run over by trains and cars. Like some To Love-Ru characters, Zastin bears a passing resemblance to Creed Diskenth, the main antagonist of Black Cat, in terms of appearance and choice of weaponry. of
- Golden Darkness (金色の闇, Konjiki no Yami?) Voiced by: Misato Fukuen
- A dispassionate, withdrawn assassin, Golden Darkness is hired by one of Lala's arranged suitors, Lacospo (ラコスポ, Rakosupo?) to kill Rito, until she breaks the contract, noting the true nature behind her target. Golden Darkness is currently staying on Earth, roaming around the city streets and Sainan High, with a motivation to continue her duty to assassinate Rito, although she has yet to accomplish this (hinting she only said that as an excuse to stay on Earth). Commonly referred as "Yami-chan", she spends her time reading books and magazines, while eating taiyaki (it is the only thing she eats on Earth since it is the first food given by Rito, prior to spending a night at the Yuuki residence for a sukiyaki dinner). By her planet's calcuations, she is 24 years-old, despite having an appearance of an 11 year-old and has a weakness towards anything slimmy.
- Like Lala, Golden Darkness' physical abilities are exponentially stronger than a human's. She carries a unique ability to turn her body parts into various objects through use of nano machines circulating her body, ranging from swords to dragon heads. Unfortunately, excessive use becomes a hazard to her health. She states she hates "ecchi" people, and does not hesitate to assault a person who looks at her in an obscene way. Like some To Love-Ru characters, Golden Darkness' mannerisms, appearance and abilities bears similarity to Eve from Black Cat. Both characters also share the same voice actress in their respective drama CD/animated counterparts. In addition, her Lunatique spaceship is a reference to Tearju Lunatique, Eve's creator in Black Cat.
- Gid Lucione Deviluke (ギド・ルシオン・デビルーク, Gido Rushion Debirūku?) Voiced by: Hidetoshi Nakamura
- The King of Deviluke and Emperor of the known universe, Gid is the father of Lala, Nana, and Momo. Despite his near omnipotent power, he has the physical appearance of a child, looking slightly devilish, with shark-like teeth, spiky black hair, and the characteristic Devilukean tail; while his daughters' tails end in spades, his appears as a wicked looking trident. Gid's personality borders juvenile delinquence and perversion, thus Lala claims the only reason he wants her to get married is so he can step down as king and be free to pursue his perverted hobbies. Lala states his current appearance is due to him using too much power during the "Galaxy Unification Wars", which desized his body, following his conquest.

Final Fantasy II was released on the NES in Japan in 1988. The story centers on four youths who join a resistance to end an evil tyrant's military campaign against the world.
Final Fantasy II was the first game to introduce Chocobos and Cid
Final Fantasy III was released on the NES in Japan in 1990. The plot focuses on four orphaned youths who come across a crystal, which grants them power and instructs them to restore balance to the world. It was the first game to implement a Job System, summoning and introduce Moogles.
Final Fantasy IV was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1991; in North America, it was released as Final Fantasy II. The story centers on a dark knight and his journey to save the world from a mysterious villain.[13] It was the first game to introduce the "Active Time Battle" system
Final Fantasy V was released on the SNES in Japan in 1992. The story focuses on a wanderer and his allies as they prevent the resurgence of an evil being. It features an expanded version of the Job System from Final Fantasy III.
Final Fantasy VI was released on the SNES in 1994, but it was released in North America under the title Final Fantasy III. The plot centers on a group of rebels as they attempt to overthrow an imperial dictatorship. It has more battle customization options than its predecessors, as well as the largest playable cast in the series.
Final Fantasy VII was released on the PlayStation (PS) in 1997. The story centers on a group of adventurers as they battle a powerful corporation. Final Fantasy VII was the first game in the series to use 3D computer graphics, which feature polygonal characters on pre-rendered backgrounds. This is the first Final Fantasy to have the same number designation in North America and Japan since the original game was released.
Final Fantasy VIII was released on the PS in 1999. The plot focuses on a group of young mercenaries who seek to prevent a sorceress from manipulating an international war. It was the first game in the series to consistently use realistically proportioned characters, and feature a vocal piece as its theme music. It is also the first Final Fantasy game to rename the magic spells from their original forms (i.e. fire, fire2, fire3) to the newest form which is currently being used in all revamps and every Final Fantasy afterward (i.e. Fire, Fira, Firaga).
Final Fantasy IX was released on the PS in 2000. The story begins with the protagonists attempting to stop a war sparked by an ambitious queen. It returned to the series' roots by revisiting a more traditional Final Fantasy setting.
Final Fantasy X was released on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) in 2001. The story focuses on the protagonists trying to defeat a rampaging force terrorizing the world. Final Fantasy X introduced full three-dimensional areas and voice acting to the series, and it was the first to spawn a direct sequel (Final Fantasy X-2).
Final Fantasy XI was released on the PS2 and PC in 2002, and later on the Xbox 360. The first MMORPG in the series, Final Fantasy XI is set in Vana'diel, where players can experience hundreds of quests and stories. It is also the first game in the series to feature real-time battles instead of random encounters.
Final Fantasy XII was released for the PS2 in 2006. The game takes place in a world where two empires are waging an endless war. It features a real-time battle system similar to Final Fantasy XI, a "gambit" system that automatically controls the actions of characters, and a "license board" that determines which abilities and equipment the character can use.
Final Fantasy XIII is in development for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be the flagship installment of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII compilation.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Every fight on their videos are still in Level 1, because they just bought it. Well, I kinda have to review them now, so let's go and game on.
Zidane Tribal vs. Firion
-----------------------------------
Dissidia Final Fantasy is a video game currently in development by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable as part of the campaign of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary. Dissidia's genre has been described as "dramatic progressive action" featuring a 3-D graphical environment with the ability to level up characters like in RPGs. The game will reunite characters from other installments of the Final Fantasy series. Chaos will make an appearance as the god of discord, while a new character, Cosmos, will appear as the goddess of harmony. Long-time series collaborator Tetsuya Nomura is in charge of the characters' design, although many of these are based on their original design by Yoshitaka Amano.
-----------------------------------
Most of the controls are too easy for someone who really understand it, so that you would play it tough like you wouldn't stop pressing Circle button to use normal attack combo. It wouldn't be easy as they say, because you need an extremely skill to play it.
"Depending on the player's skill, a Level 20 character can defeat a Level 99 character in this game," they say. At first, I didn't show any emotions. Mainly because it made itself more interesting. I'm supposed to tell you the battle controls, so here it is.

Square - HP attack
Circle - Normal attack
Cross - Jump
Directional Buttons - Camera View

Lemme give you a piece of advice when you have Dissidia in your PSP. The EX Bar will increase very slow like a snail when you are Level 1, due to your opponent's low HP and Brave Points. If you want your EX Bar more, I suggest use normal attacks until your EX Bar is full.
Besides, watching people play this game doesn't not make me bloated. It just make me wanting to play this game even more, but I need a PSP, for god's sake!
btw, Happy 21st Anniversary, Final Fantasy! This game represents the celebration of your 20th Anniversary!!!

Yakitake! Japan
Plot
Yakitate looks at the glory that is Bread! 16 year old Azuma Kazuma is a boy with the legendary Solar Hands, and dreams to create ja-pan; a bread that will become a national symbol of the country. In following this dream he becomes employed by Pantasia, one of the higher status bread companies in Japan. Azuma invents mighty breads to prove his strength to the world while at the same time trying to save Pantasia from its over-bearing rival St Pierres.
I Say:
[Yakitate Japan is a humourous and clever story about Azuma Kazuma who possesses solar hands. His dream; to make Ja-pan (Pan:Bread in japan) that can surpasses the popularity of rice among the Japanese & to prove his grandfather that bread tastes better than rice. On his journey to Tokyo, he meets his team mates who work in pantasias southern branch (Azusagawa Tsukino, Kawachi Kyousuke, Matsuasiro Ken, Kanmuri Shigeru, and I almost forgot Kinsoshita Kageto) and also meets some other fun characters such as the examiner and the peacock. The story is divided into several arcs;Azuma's Childhood, The Pantasia Entrance Examination Arc, Pantasia's Newcomers Battle Arc, Monaco Cup Arc & The Yakitake 9!!(Yakitake 25!! in the manga) arc.]

MY TOP 10 COOLEST WEAPON!
9.CHARITY BELL-DAISYA BARRY(D.GRAYMAN)
Fullmetal Alchemist
My First Review!
"You can't gain something without sacrificing something else of the equal value. This is the principle of the equivalent trade."
Plot
The story takes place in an alternate world from ours in the early 1900's. Two young brothers, older Edward Elric and younger Alphonse Elric, live with their mother Trisha in the small village of Resembool. Their father left home when they were still very young, but Ed and Al inherited his passion for alchemy.
1909. On a fine day, Trisha dies of an unknown illness, leaving her two sons orphans. Ed blames his father for Trisha's death and wants to find a way to bring her back to life. At this time, Ed was 10, Al 9. When Edward finds out about flesh forging in an alchemy book that belonged to his father, he engages in an intense training with Al in order to be able to perform a human transmutation.
On February 1910, the Elric brothers cross the forbidden line trying to resurrect their
mom. The attempt ends in a complete failure. In the process, Ed loses his left leg and Al his whole body. In a last try full of despair, Ed uses alchemy to restore his brother's spirit putting it in a suit of mail, at the further cost of his right arm. When Al wakes up in the armour, he suddenly realizes what happened and takes his unconscious injured brother to the neighbours, the Rockbells.
After that day, the two decide to embark on a journey to find the legendary Philosopher's Stone, rumoured to create anything from nothing, in hopes of getting back their original bodies.
I say:
A great anime! I've finish watchin it (51 episodes).
There's a big differences in the anime. The first half of the plot closely follows the manga. It diverges ner the middle of the story when the Elric brothers travels to Rush Valley. A former lover of Hohenheim (the brothers father) Dante (not appear in the manga) acts as the main antagonist.
The story followed in Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conquerer of Shambala situated two years after the end of the anime.
I miss FMA! T.T
